Rena is my dog, she is a delightful addition to our family. Rena loves her Uncle Hobbes who, in turn, loves her back.

Rena is wonderful with my grandchildren who all love her...... all nine of them !

We live with my eldest child Catherine, her husband Richard and their three daughters Katy (5 3/4) Olivia (21 months) and Eilidh (5 months) Katy and Rena are great pals.

Rena was bred by my good friend Sue (Topeka) and I am forever grateful to Sue for allowing me to own Rena. She came from Grit's last ever litter and is very, very special. As well as her mum hailing from the first Remuda litter she is also a Reno granddaughter, her name "Arena" means Grit and her pet name Rena is obviously in honour of her grandfather ...... but... it is also a name from Israel meaning "Joy" and Rena is a joy to have around. It is like living with her granddad Reno, she really does encompass all the best bits of Reno & Grit and to say she is just like Reno is one of the highest compliments I can give.

As part of the future for Remuda I hoped to have Rena puppies, sadly, "the best laid plans 'o mice and men gan aft aglay" (R.Burns) and Rena had other plans....out of the blue, her bite went undershot and so, my lovely girl is spayed.

Rena Whyman is not bothered she is loved and is lovely ! I would not change her for anything !!!
