Monday 1st March: Bris gets his Silver KC Good Citzen award - YAY!
Friday 5th March: Hobbes's ASCA DNA Certificate arrived.
Sat 27th March: Red ASCA DNA Certificate arrived.
Sunday 28th March: Katie and Dil won the NASA Blue Lightening Cup for most points in Pre-Beginners and Beginners Obedience for 2009!!!! YAY WELL DONE that is fabulous!!
And Liz and Peppa won the NASA Fairapache Rojo Cup for the highest qualifying marks in WDx WELL DONE Liz and Peps.... this was emotional for both Liz and myself as due to Peppa's cruciate op she has been retired from Working Trials..... but.... she went out with a BANG!!!!
Monday 5th April: Vikki and Maverick were 3rd in "C" This is their first qualifier for working "Ticket" WAY TO GO !!!!YAY

Sunday 16TH May: Vikki and Mav were 3rd in "C" another qualifier for "Ticket" YEEHAW Well Done !
Saturday 12th JUne: Vikki and Mav were 2nd in "C" which means they need a win to be qualified to work "Ticket" FABULOUS

Saturday 24th July: Vikki and Mav won "C" qualifying them for the Championship "C" Class known as "Ticket". Well Done - Very well deserved !!

Jean Davidson called to tell me how proud she is of her Rhea.
Rhea is now 10 years 5 months old (April '09) she was 3rd in Grade 4 Agility and 6th in Jumping. Rhea was paired with an 11 year old collie x and with their 60 year old handler they were 11th out of 85 pairs - all of who were younger .....not just the dogs !
Rhea is Jeans's helper - she will find anything lost on a walk and will not give up until she finds the lost article.
Jean's Brodie was 2nd in Grade 4 Agility too and continues to be a great ambassador around the rings with lots of people wanting to handle him.
Sunday 19th April : Monkey won "B" at Knightwood Championship Show........Well Done Sue and Monkey
Sunday 26th April : Monkey won the Evelyn Steel Memorial Trophy ABC class at York Open Obedience Show. Maverick was second.
Monkey also won the "Best Aussie in "B" " - well done to Monkey and Sue.
Tuesday 28th April : Rena and Gilly both had Clear Eye Certificates.
Saturday 2nd May : Lyvi is MVA at the NASA Show - well done Sandra and Lyvi.
Sunday 3rd May : Dil and Katie qualified for Crufts Elementary YKC Obedience losing only 4 1/2 points at Rugby ch. show. Well done Katie and Dil.
Saturday 9th May : Maverick and Vikki were 2nd in "B" at Wirral Ch. Show - Well done to them both.
Sunday 10th May at Wirral Ch. Show Maverick and Vikki won "B" and is now "C" only, they were also 4th in "C". At the same show Monkey and Sue were 3rd in "B" and they were 5th in ABC. A huge " Well Done !!" to them.
Thursday 14th May in Lauder, Scotland Peppa and Liz qualified WDx despite the track being in heather and it blowing a gale - A huge "Well Done" to Liz and Peppa.
Saturday 16th May : Maverick and Vikki won another "B" at Loughborough - Well Done to them both.
Wednesday 21st May : Gryph passed his GOLD KC Good Citizen test. Well Done Kim and Gryph !!
Sunday 31st May : Dil and Katie won out of Pre-Beginners, then won Elementary YKC Obedience, THEN was 2nd in Graduate YKC Obedience at Beverley Show. WELL DONE Katie & Dill.
Saturday 18th July : Monkey and Sue won "B" at St. Helens. Well Done ! - Sue says one more to go .......
Sunday 19th July : Not Remuda news at all but....... a Massive Congratulations to Sue with her dog Stitch because not only did they win "C" they also won the BIG one - *TICKET* !!!!! So Stitch is quailified for CRUFTS obedience ......... Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant !!! I know Sue has worked so hard with Stitch to achieve this long held dream - Enjoy Sue , you deserve it !
Sunday 19th July : Maverick and Vikki were 6th in "C" also at St. Helens - they declined the run off ..... far too distracted by what was occuring in the Ticket ring.
Sunday 26th July : Monkey and Sue won "B" making Monkey "C" only ! Well Done !
Also Mav and Vikki were 5th in "C" Well Done to this team too - onwards and upwards !!!
Friday 14th August : Morgan and Mandie accompanied their Flyball Team to a CH. Flyball Competition - they won their division - Well Done to all.
Friday 4th Sept : Monkey and Maverick had an introduction to herding at "Comebye Collies" with Jackie Goulder - brings back very happy memories for me as Jackie was the one who patiently taught Hobbes and his sister Blaze...........and used extra patience with me !
Thursday the 18th Sept : Rena, Gilly and Red went for an introduction to sheep work at Corrie Dhu. Rena said, "Hmmm not sure if this is my thing" Gilly said, "This is brill, I could get good at this" Red (17 weeks) said, Hello Sheep :) I will be visiting again and when I am older I think I will be able to keep up with you :)"
Monday 12th Oct : I leave for England to go to France with 3 friends, Liz, Sue (R) and Mandie. We leave Mandie's on the 13th Oct at half past dark o clock am to get the 9.15am Ferry from Dover to Calais ..... We went to see Zef's puppies from Tatoum at Anne's place - it was BRILLIANT !!!! see the French trip page coming soon ! we stayed at a Gite which Anne booked for us and that was also BRILLIANT !!! what a lovely country with lovely people, food and wine :) when are we going back LOL :)

Sunday 1st Nov : Kim called to let me know Gryph won his class at the NASA CH. Show - well done to those two. Also, she told me he went to the NASA herding day and actually showed good potential..... he went round the sheep and he brought them to her - GREAT job - keep going Kim !!
